The libraries' Food for Fines program will run for four weeks from mid November to assist local emergency relief agencies in the lead up to the holiday period. Food donated will assist in providing community meals and Christmas food hampers. Due to space restrictions, no food donations will be received until the campaign starts.

Seniors are invited to join the millions and learn to use Facebook and other computer skills by participating in the Seniors Online classes in October.

The regular classes - computer basics, introduction to email and to the Internet are on the program and all classes are run in small groups in a supportive environment.
