Easter Opening Hours Hobsons Bay Libraries will be closed for the Easter weekend from Friday, 10th April to Monday, 13th April. All branches will close at the usual time on Thursday, 9th April and will re-open on Tuesday, 14th April.
ANZAC Day Public Holiday All library branches will be closed for the ANZAC Day public holiday on Saturday, 25th April.
During library closures after hours return chutes are available at all sites. Please access the library website to search the catalogue, reserve, renew or request items online.

Over 600 young people from nine Hobsons Bay schools contributed artwork to the libraries’ Earth Hour Exhibition. The community is invited to encourage the artistic and environmental endeavours of these young artists by viewing the exhibition at all library branches.

Hard Jacka is a novel about the exploits of Albert Jacka, VC, Australia’s first Victoria Cross winner during the Great War, and the men of the 14th Battalion, First AIF. This free service for students in Grade Four to Year 12 is available to library members each week day from 4.00pm to 8.00pm via the libraries’ website.

Computer training classes allow people to develop skills in the various aspects of computing, including basic computer skills, email and using the Internet. Regular classes are offered at beginner and intermediate level for small groups and cost only $6.
