The new Williamstown Library opened its doors at 12.00pm, on Thursday, 20th September, 2012.
Williamstown library has a range of impressive features including: Gallery space and community meeting spaces; Quiet study room and a cosy children’s area.; Dedicated Heritage Room, a haven for family and local history researchers; Library lounge and cafe; and Friends of the Libraries book sale room.
17 PCs with internet access, iPads, gaming consoles, accessible computers, self-serve technology, print scan and copying facilities and Wi-Fi throughout.
A large collection of books, magazines, DVDs and CDs arranged in genre lounges including specialist collections such as maritime, local history and indigenous.
