Storytime with special guest storyteller Amne El Kurdi

Join guest storyteller and Homegrown Hobsons Bay author, Amne El Kurdi, for a special Storytime to celebrate Cultural Diversity Week!
There will be songs, stories and rhymes, and Amne will read her debut picture book, Off to work mummy goes. As an Australian-Lebanese woman, pharmacist, and mother, Amne understands how much children can struggle with the idea of mum going to work. Her story helps to normalise working mothers and celebrates our unique families.
Storytime is perfect for children aged 1-5 years old and their carers.
We are taking precautions to help us stay COVID-safe:
- Adults and anyone aged 12+ must wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth for the whole session.
- Please arrive early so that you can be checked in before the session begins.
- If you can’t attend, please cancel so that someone else can come along.
Bookings are essential as spaces are limited to ensure for social distancing. Please book for all adults and children aged over 12 months.
