Addison Russell

Addison Russel writes contemporary, chick-lit fiction and is a Williamstown resident. Her debut novel, The Invisible Journey, was published in 2015 and she is currently scribbling the sequel.

Her experience of living within her wonderful, but according to some, "dysfunctional" blended-family provides the ideas for her story telling.

Interested in the width and depth of human emotions and the concept of "identity", Addison through her characters explores complex issues such as; parenthood, personal responsibility, life, death, disease, depression and deceit

Life in, and connection to, Hobsons Bay

Addison is a relative newcomer to Hobsons Bay and has lived in Williamstown for the past 6 years. Her narrative is influenced by the backdrop of the city framed by the sea, and the many coffee shops that are the delivery room for some of her fictional characters.
