Winter Makers Weekend – a variety of workshops for the makers, tinkers and curious beginners. These sessions are aimed at adults.

Electric Wire Jewellery workshop

10:30am to 12pm, Altona Library.

The electrical wire jewellery workshop is one of Vivian’s signature workshops. In this workshop, Vivian will teach you how to make jewellery using electrical wires that’s collected from renovation site. You can make a statement jewellery piece, be it necklace, earrings, pendant or bracelet.

Character sculpture workshop

In this three hour class students will learn how to make a figurative sculpture, beginning with sketching your design on paper, then adding foil to a wire armature to create form and features and cover with masking tape.

Bring your character to life with paint, embellish using recycled materials and paint pens and finally attach to a wooden base.

Suitable for kids aged from 8 to 12 years old.

Bookings will close on Friday 24 June, 4pm.
