Spring Writing Series: Secrets of story structure with Nic Brasch

The success of our Winter Writing series brings us to Spring. Author Nic Brasch returns to help you bring your story to life with maximum impact.

Structure can be the make or break territory for a novel because all the elements of writing a story depend on it. It’s what enables authors to create stories that work. Nic will discuss how to take advantage of the knowledge inside us all to create a story that everyone will want to read.

He will show you how to create and use structure; how writers divide a story into parts and how they connect and resolve each phase to attain that much anticipated conclusion. Getting your structure right helps to give your story meaning and life.

Nicolas is a generous, passionate and insightful teacher who has been a full-time writer for almost 20 years. He teaches writing at Swinburne University and has presented numerous workshops and seminars on creative and professional writing and storytelling.
